Key mineral sands permit for Sheffield

Western Australian explorer Sheffield Resources Ltd boosted its portfolio last month with the granting of a tenement which takes in its Dampier mineral sands project in the Kimberley. The project covers 1,314 kilometres overall, lying 60 km from the port of Dampier and near Derby, with previous exploration by Rio Tinto showing it to be prospective for heavy minerals.
