Drilling by Golden Cross Resources in areas not previously looked at within the historic Copper Hill prospect near Molong in central New South Wales has intersected broad widths of mineralisation of up to 1.62 percent copper and 1.68 grams/tonne gold. Golden Cross managing director David Timms said the second, and potentially most important, phase scheduled to start shortly would consist of drilling three deeper holes with a diamond rig to a length of 250 metres. Some of the beyer results included 22m at 1.31 percent copper and 0.40 g/t gold from 112m and 12m at 1.23 percent copper and 0.1 g/t gold from 124m depth.
