Relative newcomer Queensland-based D'Aguilar Gold Ltd is looking to outline in excess of 300,000 ounces in reef and vein systems on its 2,500 square kilometre ground holding in the Sunshine State. D'Aguilar's managing director Nicholas Mather told delegates the company believed there was also potential for plus 1 million ounces to be outlined in intrusive A porphyry systems around the north D'Aguilar block. The company's ground holding is to the west of the historic Gympie Goldfield. Listing in September last year, D'Aguilar is planning to undertake 10,000 metres of diamond core and RC drilling on its ground over the coming 12 months and a further 13,000m the following year.
