Queensland-based Metallica Minerals Ltd is looking to leverage the significant competitive advantage it has at its flagship NORNICO nickel-cobalt and scandium undertaking in the state's north west. As it stands, the junior is aiming to have a revised scoping study completed and a feasibility document started on the tri-metal project by July. Metallica managing director Andrew Gillies said he was very happy about the progress being made at NORNICO, with the company having completed most of the exploration and resource drilling earlier on in the year. However, there had been significant delays receiving metallurgical laboratory results and, therefore, completing a flowsheet design.
