Octagonal joins the Victorian gold stakes

The company that took over the Maldon gold leases in Victoria from uranium project developer Alliance Resources Ltd has set itself up for a seven-year operation with annual production of about 30,000 ounces. Octagonal Resources Ltd (ASX: ORS) was sponsored onto the Australian Securities Exchange by Alliance and its key investors, including Ian Gandell, the company's non-executive chairman.
