New blog to gauge public views on proposed impost

As mentioned in last month's magazine, publisher of Gold&Minerals Gazette -Resource Information Unit - is launching a website as part of the national push by the country's minerals fraternity to get the Federal Labor Government to drop its plan to bring in a resources super profits tax (RSPT). The introduction of the impost, which was announced on May 2, is expected to have a significant negative impact on the nation's mining sector. If it goes ahead, it will be brought in on July 1,2012.
