The untapped potential of New South Wales' gold sector is the rationale behind a new IPO and planned ASX listing - one of only a few such NSW-focused gold floats in recent years. During the March quarter Sydney-based Commissioners Gold Ltd announced it was planning to raise 4.5 million dollars to develop yellow metal targets around Cooma and Oberon in the state's highly prospective world class Eastern Lachlan Fold Belt, which hosts NSW's three biggest gold Robert McCauley mines.
