As part of its plan to make full use of its treatment plant, the proponent behind Australia's longest running gold project is currently targeting the redevelopment of two historical workings. Norseman Gold Plc - which produced 31,881 ounces of the precious metal from its namesake project's underground mines for the six months to December 2009 - has been spending the past few years looking for new sources of ore so it can increase its mill throughput by some 40%.
