Feldspar a valuable component

WITH A TARGET date for tantalum production at its Abu Dabbab project in Egypt of the second quarter of 2009, Gippsland Ltd is currently focused on upgrading its reserves to 20 million tonnes. A bankable feasibility study completed on the project in November 2005 put capital expenditure at 90 million US dollars and revenues in excess of 500 million US dollars for the first 14 years of production. However, the company is currently updating the BFS, which is due for completion shortly.
