In the wake of June's vector data gap headline controversy, Dr Bill Laing of Queensland-based Laing Exploration Pty Ltd has asked the statements he made to Gold & Minerals Gazette be printed in their entirety. For the record, it should be noted that some of Dr Laing's remarks were cut from the final story for a lack of space. The key phrase mentioned below (and highlighted) was one of the unfortunate victims of the proverbial editorial process.
