Drilling aims to fatten Owendale platinum-scandium reserves

A new drilling program, taking in new target areas, is now underway on the Owendale platinum and scandium prospect in the central west of New South Wales aimed at lifting reserves to enhance development of Australia's first modern platinum mine. Owner Platina Resources already has an established resource at Owendale which is in the Fifield region where old-timers in the early 1900s recovered significant platinum in nugget form.
