This year's RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle was proof that this popular minerals forum has well and truly found its place on the mining media conference circuit with record numbers attending the event. Sponsors of this year's conference included Howarths, Patersons, the Suprac Minex Group, Freehills and Westpac, to name a few. Around 600 delegates attended the two-day event, which again was held at the Esplanade Hotel, and they were not disappointed by the impressive line-up of presentations. And with a booming resources sector and rising commodity prices, many of the companies present had found it was becoming easier to raise funds.
