If policy change is on the wind as the uranium industry is hoping, Australia's next uranium mines could well be operated and/or partially owned by South Australia-based Uranium Equities Ltd (UEL). Subject to Bullion Minerals Ltd shareholder approval, the publicly listed explorer and developer's uranium assets will be absorbed into UEL while its other assets are to be spun off to existing shareholders. Through the reorganisation of Bullion -- which is not expected to be complete until early in the second quarter of 2006 - UEL will have a portfolio of 19 uranium assets covering more than 10,000 square kilometres.
