When Sandfire Resources NL's technical director Graeme Mutton outlined his company's philosophy at an investment conference in Sydney earlier this year he made two succinct points. Firstly, the junior exploration house was being run by prospecting geologists. Secondly, Sandfire had one single objective. "And I'm going to make this point," Hutton said. "It's fine for everyone to come along to these conferences and bullshit and talk about what they might do and how they might live. "I don't need to this - I need the capital to drill holes in the ground. "We're about one single objective and that's the discovery of a world-class ore deposit." Since Hutton's appearance at RIU's Sydney Resources Round-Up Conference some two months after Sandfire listed on the ASX, the junior exploration house has started its quest in earnest, with field activities beginning on its Borroloola base metals play in the Northern Territory.
