Sydney-based Sino Gold Ltd has increased the mineral resource estimate at its Jinfeng gold project - considered to be the largest known Carlin-type deposit in China - to 25.3 million tonnes at 5 grams/tonne gold, containing 4.04 million ounces (in situ at 2 g/t gold cut-off grade). This figure is a 17 percent increase on the previous resource estimate of 20 Mt at just on 5 g/t gold, containing 3.45 million oz. The new estimate includes measured and indicated resources totalling 21.1 Mt at 4.9 g/t gold, containing 3.32 million oz, representing a 40 percent increase of 956,000 oz.
