New resource expected soon

Tianshan Goldfields Ltd has upped the field ante at its Gold Mountain project in north western China after last year's drilling successfully identified two resource drill-out targets. During 2005 the West Australian-based junior plans to drill up to 25,000 metres and will target its Yelmand, Jinxi, Mayituobi, Chart, Jiland, Keledilun and Kezele prospects. The company has already contracted 14 rigs to, carry out the work and has raised another 2 million dollars to help fund the undertaking. It is expected an initial resource figure will be announced sometime in the June quarter. During the recent RIU Sydney Resources Round-up forum, Tianshan chairman Warwick Grigor said assay results from the 2004 program showed that all 22 holes drilled encountered gold mineralisation and represented part of a large gold-mineralised system within a 3.5 kilometre diameter caldera.
