Canadian-based Cameco Corporation continues to explore for uranium in Australia through its subsidiary Cameco Australia. The exploration office, located in Dai-win, includes 15 permanent staff. Cameco, with its head office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is the world's largest producer of uranium and the largest supplier of combined uranium and conversion services. Its products are used to generate clean electricity in nuclear power plants around the world. In Australia, the mining house is focused on the West Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.
