Rex proclaims Hillside a world-class project

The Hillside iron ore-copper-gold project (100%) on Yorke Peninsula is one of the world's best undeveloped copper mines, according to its discoverer Rex Minerals. The company has completed a pre-feasibility study for the deposit, which is located just 150 kilometres from Adelaide. A bankable feasibility study is underway and, if successful, Rex hopes to see first production in late 2015. Given the status of available copper resources in Australia, Rex managing director Mark Parry claimed Hillside is the largest undeveloped copper project in Australia, and could be the best open pit project since Ernest Henry 25 years ago.
