Area reassessment produces quick results

Eyeing up promising projects and applying new concepts is paying off for Sirius Resources Ltd, with drilling at the Polar Bear and Fraser Range plays yielding good results. Last year Sirius obtained full ownership of the Polar Bear multi-mineral project in Western Australia and immediately reassessed the extensive historical data for the area. Aircore drilling started in December and quickly identified sulphide mineralisation. Meanwhile, an historically-recognised gossan yielded nickel results of 19 metres at 0.47% from lm, including 7m at 0.75% from lm at the Halls Knoll prospect.
