摘要

We have investigated available approaches for the nondestructive 3D mineralogical analysis of reservoir rocks. The applicability of the classical X-ray micro-computed tomography technique is reviewed together with an analysis of the results from a newly developed combined micro-CT and micro-X-ray fluorescence system. The advantages and limitations of these different approaches are discussed using the example of a sandstone reservoir rock study.
