摘要

This paper presents the characteristics of a half bowtie-shaped, meander-type antenna for broadband impedance bandwidth, The design was based on a modified meander line and a bowtie shape with coaxial feeding. The maximum measured impedance bandwidth (-10 dB) was approximately 1,5075 GHz (5.5775-7.085 GHz), or about 23.8%, Radiation patterns at different frequencies are presented herein. The measured antenna gain ranges from about 3.43 to 6.73 dBi.
