摘要

The swirl-type unit cell with a dual composite right/left-handed property on microstrip transmission line is proposed. The equivalent circuit of the proposed unit cell has been derived from the physical geometry of swirl-type shape. The unit cell with a compact size has good characteristics and has been used in the miniaturized filter design. Therefore, the band stop filter has been designed by cascading several swirl-type cells and implemented on microstrip transmission line. The simulated and the measured results show good agreements in interest band. (C) 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
