QUASI-ELLIPTIC SLOTLINE BANDPASS FILTER USING A NOVEL FEEDING SCHEME

摘要

A novel uniplanar slotline bandpass filter with quasielliptic response based on the half-wavelength split ring resonators with internal coupling is proposed by using the coplanar waveguide (CPW)-to-slotline transition which is regarded as a part of the filter. The transition not only fulfils good impedance transformation characteristic without extra impedance matching circuit, but also controls the external quality factor flexibly. An equivalent circuit model is established to investigate the characteristic of the transition. The simulation and measurement results agree well.
