WIDEBAND CIRCULARLY-POLARIZED SERIAL ROTATED 2 × 2 CIRCULAR PATCH ANTENNA ARRAY

In this article, a novel wideband cularly-polarized serial rotated 2 × 2 circular patch antenna array is presented. The patches are excited sequentially by a broadband feed network. It is found that the antenna array can deliver a measured impedance bandwidth of 46.6% for SWR < 2, 3-dB axial-ratio measured bandwidths of 40%, and the measured bandwidth of 70.1% for the gain > 3 dBi.
