摘要

An equivalent circuit model is proposed to estimate the absorbance characteristics of the proposed terahertz wave absorber based on metamaterial. The component can be optimized to achieve high absorption of different frequency of the incident electromagnetic wave by adjusting physical dimensions and material parameters. The fabricated device was characterized by using a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. The designed absorber demonstrated excellent absorbance compared with previously reported metamaterial-based terahertz wave absorbers, which exhibited 99.3% absorbance at 0.575 THz. The simulation and measurement results show that the absorber is an excellent terahertz wave collector.
