摘要

The compensation effect of the fiber-type polarization controller (FPC) for the intrinsic polarization-dependent loss (PDL) of the magneto-optic fiber Bragg grating (MFBG) is experimentally investigated and the experimental results are explained by the theoretical model of MFBG presented in the article. The use of FPC may improve the PDL response of the MFBG system to applied magnetic field.
