Plains All American Pipeline To Make Mesa Improvements

Plains All American Pipeline LP (PAA; Houston) has increased throughput capacity of the 80-mile Mesa Pipeline System by about 100,000 bbld to approximately 420,000 bbld. The Mesa System, which originates near Midland, Texas, delivers crude oil to Alon USA's Big Spring refinery and feeds both the West Texas Gulf Pipeline, which serves markets south and east of Cushing, Okla., and the Basin Pipeline system, which delivers crude to the Cushing Hub. The system is jointly owned by subsidiaries of Plains All American and Sunoco Logistics.
