Ferrellgas Acquires Independent California Propane Marketer

Ferrellgas Partners LP (Overland Park, Kan.) Sept. 22 said it had acquired Economy Propane Inc., an independent propane retailer based in Lakeport, Calif. The purchase is the company's first in its fiscal year that began Aug. 1, and the fourth this calendar year. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
