Earlier signs of cost-based price rises helped by seasonal market strength have not been sustained. In the USA the International Trade Administration's (ITA) heavy margin rulings against Mexican rebar may leave room for a rise in domestic mill prices but strong competition will continue from Turkish mills after the zero-to-low findings against their prices.
