MEMS Device Scores Big at Consumer Show

Digital light processing(DLP)technology,an increasing successful MEMS-based display technology,was in high gear at the International Consumer Electronics Show(CES)held in Las Vegas in January.Texas Instruments(12500 TIBlvd.,Dallas,TX 75266;Tel:972/995-3773,Fax:972/995-4360)said that approximately 20 manufacturers introduced and showcased products based onTTs award-winning DLP technology.DLP lights up a variety of screens delivering sharp,clear,vibrant images to consumers worldwide-from digital cinema theaters,to world renowned awards events,including the Academy Awards and Emmy Award shows,to dedicated home theaters.
