摘要

The aim of the present investigation was to determine experimentally the effects of transmembrane pressure and volume reduction factor on the flux of a UF25-PAN polyacrylnitrilic membrane under ultrafiltration and diafiltration of skim and whole whey obtained from Kashkaval hard cheese. The experiments were carried out under the following operating conditions: a) transmembrane pressure range from 0.2 MPa to 0.4 MPa at 0.05 MPa intervals; b) volume reduction factor range from 1 to 5 at intervals of 1. On the basis of the experimental investigation, dependences of the UF25-PAN ultrafiltration membrane flux on transmembrane pressure and volume reduction factor were established under ultrafiltration and diafiltration of skim and whole whey, and regression models were obtained after mathematical processing. Comparison of the results obtained showed that the flux under ultrafiltration and diafiltration of skim and whole whey had close values under the respective investigated conditions of changing the transmembrane pressure and volume reduction factor.
