TOMITA REPRESENTATION OF THE ARNOLD CAT MAP

The Tomita Hilbert-space representation of the Amol'd cat map model of Benatti et al. is described and the operators representing physical quantities are defined for the classical and quantum cases. It is seen that the exponential decay of correlations is preserved upon quantization. References: 12
