World LP Gas Forum Highlights Challenges,Opportunities for LPG

A record total of 1731 LP-gas professionals from around the world attended the 22nd World LP Gas Forum in Rio de Janeiro Oct. 7-9.Rio de Janeiro, one of the key hubs for growth in Latin America, was a strategic choice for the forum because LP-gas plays an important role in the region. More than 80% of Brazil's LP-gas demand is used in domestic applications, and this demand has major potential to grow. Brazil is the sixth-highest consumer of LP-gas in the domestic sector worldwide, and the ninth in all sectors worldwide. Mexico is the fifth-highest consumer in the domestic sector, and the seventh in all sectors worldwide.
