Zinc - Market trends and analysis

In our last report, we said we expected zinc is trade within its recent range of $1,750-1,950/tonne, or $1,600-2,100/tonne at the extremes. Last week’s rally across the base metals complex took zinc to the top of the initial range, at $1,950/tonne, and we must now wait to see if sufficient momentum exists to carry the rally further. We have our reservations, but the deciding factor will be investors’ risk appetite.
