Suburban Reports 40.4% Hike in Year-End Income Results

Suburban Propane Partners LP (Whippany, N.J.) in mid-November reported net income of 127.3 million for its 2007 fiscal year ended Sept. 29, 2007. This compares to 90.7 million in net income during the partnership's 2006 fiscal year, and represents a 36.6-million, or 40.4%, improvement over the previous year. Revenues from the distribution of propane and related activities of 1019.9 million in fiscal 2007 decreased 61.8 million, or 5.7%, compared to 1081.6 million in fiscal 2006, primarily due to lower volumes.
