Effikal Recalls Automatic Gas Vent Dampers

The U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC)and Effikal LLC(Orion,Mich.)have recalled about 45,000 of the company's automatic gas vent dampers.The dampers could fail,and if the blocked vent switch does not activate,the vent could leak carbon monoxide(CO),creating a poisoning risk for consumers.No accidents or injuries have been reported.
