LME tin stocks continue to rise, with Johor in Malaysia still the primary focus of inflows. The headline total was for the fifth consecutive week, with last week’s net gain of 135 tonnes amounting to an additional 1.0%. The total was last at 13,480 tonnes, with 155 tonnes (1.1% of total stocks) on cancelled status. Indeed, cancelled warrants are now at their lowest level of the year, and a far cry from the highs above 10% of total stocks that were seen during period of peak demand in the second and third quarters.
