The latest data showed that China continues to be a importer of refined lead, however volumes remain small. Although imports soared by 67% month-on-month, they only totalled 2,750 tonnes, and net imports 1,480 tonnes. Domestic prices are at a wider premium to the LME, and production has been struggling.
