It was another quiet week for zinc at LME warehouses. Stock levels have been virtually unchanged since late May, stuck at 615,000-620,000 tonnes. We have seen periods of relative inactivity like this before this year, and they have ended with a large and sudden inflow of metal onto LME warrant. This pattern has given the zinc stock chart its peculiar stepped nature.
