LME three-month aluminium continued the rally it started last week to test $2,500/tonne and settling around $2,450/tonne. This boost has come from dollar weakness caused by another bout of US quantitative easing. This pattern is being followed by the other key industrial commodities, oil and copper, which are touching on six month highs.
