Aluminium trading activity on the LME picked-up towards the end of last week as the metal climbed above $2,100/tonne. This came as the market has become more positive over the last few weeks and the base metals complex moved upwards. However, since much of the good economic data in recent days has been more bullish for the other metals aluminium has lagged the complex somewhat.
