Vale Inco is planning to push ahead with further restarts at its strike-hit operations in Canada. It will resume production at its 85,000 tpy Sudbury nickel complex using contractors and non-unionised workers, after the company’s latest contract offer was rejected by the union last week. This would be its most significant restart yet.
