In line with reports from physical traders activity on the LME shows a generally quiet market in that although the outflow of metal has picked up since the start of the month, the bulk is still leaving New Orleans, with only light parcels leaving other locations. Last week an average of 1,469 tonnes per day (tpd) left warehouses and since the start of the month daily outflow has averaged 2,298 tonnes, while in the third quarter outflow averaged 677 tpd.
