The past week has been very telling in terms of gauging sentiment in the copper market. It has also helped us to reshape our views on prices for the coming quarter. A rebound was underway at the time of writing our last report and the question then was whether it was either the start of a more sustainable price recovery or just another continuation pattern in the downtrend that has been in place since early February.
