The metals have generally been weak during the whole of March and the start of April, saw that trend continue with aluminium prices sinking to a low of $1,862.75/tonne last week, which took them below the late October low at $1,887/tonne to levels not seen since last September. The next level of likely support is the bottom that was established last summer which reached a low of $1,827.25/ tonne in August.
