Back in late September, Yunnan’s provincial government announced that it would stockpile 10,000 tonnes of tin ingots from local producers over the September-December period. In the year to August (latest data) Yunnan province has produced 53,826 tonnes of refined tin, averaging out at 6,728 tpm.
