Shell Bakersfield Sold to Flying J Unit

Shell Oil Co.(Houston) has reached an agreement to sell its Bakersfield,Calif,refinery to Big West Oil,a subsidiary of Flying J Inc.(Ogden,Utah).While specific terms of the sale were not disclosed,the Los Angeles Times reports Flying J will purchase the facility for US130 million following regulatory approval.
