Conway ethane prices continued to stumble this week as bottlenecks and a lack ofprocessing, fractionation or cracking capacity are driving prices to levels not seen since in more than a decade. The price dropped 29% to 15￠ per gallon (/gal), which was its lowest price at the hub since it was 13￠/gal the week of Jan. 24, 2002. There aren’t many rays of sunshine shining through this rain cloud of bad news, but two are notable. The first is that prices began to improve as the week wore on.
