Williams Board Approves Bluegrass Pipeline Project

Williams Partners LP’s board of directors approved the company’s Bluegrass Pipeline project, and the company is engaging in development work on the proposed natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline, which has a targeted in-service date of late 2015. Phase I of the project will provide producers with 200,000 barrels (bbl.) per day of mixed NGL take-away capacity in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, and Phase II will increase capacity to 400,000 bbl. per day, Williams said in a company release. The pipeline will deliver to new fractionation and storage facilities, providing connectivity to petrochemical facilities and product pipelines along the coasts of Louisiana and Texas.
