A-1 Carbonate horizontal drilling planned by Wyotex Drilling Ventures LLC in Grand Traverse, Manistee counties

GRAND TRAVERSE & MANISTEE COS., Mich.—Wyotex Drilling Ventures LLC has proposed the drilling of five horizontal A-1 Carbonate tests — three in Grand Traverse County and two in Manistee County—providing the first solid indication of their intentions in the state after the leasing of more than 7,600 acres of oil and gas rights to state of Michigan-owned minerals at auction sales in October 2013 and October 2014.
